Workshops & mobility
From the keys,to the invoice.
Jobs, vehicles, fleet and rental. Follow every car through the workshop and every van through its day, with the books in the same system.

Workshops, fleets, rental
The vehicle, the job, the keys — all in one place.
A workshop lives on vehicles in and out: the job card that follows the car, the parts that went in, the courtesy van rented out for the day. Around it, the fleet with its trips, fuel and maintenance, and the bookings that must never overlap. Equinox keeps the workshop, the yard and the books together.
The same rules field service works under hold at the workshop: the job cannot close with a required check open, parts and hours are logged where they happen, and the customer signs on site.

Workshops & mobility
The workshop job on the vehicle that came in, trips and fuel in the fleet log, maintenance that does not slip, rental bookings that cannot overlap. Equinox for workshops, fleets and rental operators, with the invoices in the same books.
- Fleet surfaces
- 7vehicles, trip log with map, fuel log, maintenance, fleet risk, fleet reports — every vehicle carries plate, fuel, mileage, driver and its expiring insurance alert.
- Rental bookings
- Overlap refusedassets and bookings live on a calendar that refuses a double booking: an asset already out cannot be booked for the same days.
- Workshop
- 4vehicles, workshop records, deadlines and analytics — the job history stays attached to the vehicle that came in.
- Around the job
- Parts and invoicesparts come from warehouse stock; the invoice is written in documents, on the same customer and the same books.
A day at the workshop
One bay, one job, one signature.
The same rules field service works under hold at the workshop: the job cannot close with a required check open, parts and hours are logged where they happen, and the customer signs on site.
The van goes out, the courtesy car comes back.
The trip log opens the day with the odometer at both ends; the courtesy car comes back from its booking and the calendar frees the asset for the next customer.
FleetThe car comes in, the job card opens.
Vehicle, customer, the fault as described, the parts expected from stock. The job is one of the day’s bays, visible at a glance.
WorkshopParts out of stock, hours on the job.
The parts fitted leave warehouse stock; the hours actually worked are logged on the job, not guessed on Friday.
WarehouseRequired checks, then the signature.
The job cannot be closed while a required check is open — the server refuses it. Then the customer signs, and the record is complete.
Projects & fieldThe invoice, on the same books.
The job becomes an invoice in documents, for the same customer; the rental of the courtesy van is invoiced on return through the same engine.
DocumentsThe modules involved
Five modules, one yard.
A workshop day is a job on a vehicle, parts from the store, a van going out and a courtesy car coming back — and an invoice at the end of it. These are the modules workshops and mobility operators use in Equinox.
Workshop
Vehicles, job records, deadlines and analytics: the history of every car that came in, and what is due back.
02Fleet
The yard’s own vehicles: trips with odometer and map, fuel log, maintenance and the reports behind the costs.
03Rental
Assets on a calendar that refuses an overlap: courtesy cars and equipment out, back, invoiced.
04Warehouse
The parts that go into the jobs: stock, movements, reorder thresholds.
05Documents
The invoice at the end of the job, on the same customer and the same books.
The views that matter
The yard, the diary, the job card.
Real views of the Equinox application with a demo company: the vehicles with their expiries, the maintenance that is due, the rental calendar that refuses overlaps, and the job card with its checklist and signature.
Vehicles — mileage, maintenance, expiries
The Equinox fleet vehicles view: vans and a truck of a demo company as cards with plate, fuel, mileage, driver and the expiring insurance alert.

Maintenance — what is due, per vehicle
The Equinox fleet maintenance view: what is due on each vehicle of the demo company.

Rentals — bookings with a real overlap check
The Equinox rental bookings list: bookings of a demo company with customer, asset, dates, total and state.

The rental calendar — what is out, until when
The Equinox rental calendar: a month grid with the bookings of a demo company drawn on their days, by state.

The job card — checklist, parts, hours, signature
A work order in Equinox: customer, site, state, the checklist with its required items, parts, time logs and the signature block.

What is deliberately not here: you cannot invoice directly from a job — the invoice is written in the documents module; there is no live GPS tracking or route optimisation, and the trips map shows logged trips, not live positions; no dedicated mobile app and no offline mode — the mobile view is the same application in a browser.
By trade
Six trades, one system underneath.
The same modules, arranged the way your work actually runs. Each page walks a typical day through the product, with the views that matter for that trade and the modules behind them.
Restaurants
Bookings that follow your service hours, orders taken at the table and split by station in the kitchen, the bill settled on the till of the same system, and every sale already in the VAT register. Equinox for restaurants, trattorias and bars.
02 · By tradeHospitality
Rooms on a tape chart, rate plans and a daily grid, city tax computed per stay, housekeeping that knows which room is next, and a folio that becomes an invoice at check-out. Equinox for hotels, guesthouses and B&Bs — with the restaurant downstairs in the same books.
03 · By tradeManufacturing
Bills of materials with waste per line and priced operations, production orders that consume components and receive finished goods as real stock movements, a standard cost that rolls up onto the product. Equinox for workshops and small factories, with purchasing and the warehouse in the same books.
04 · By tradeRetail & wholesale
A till that closes its session against the cash it should hold, stock that moves with every sale, price lists per customer and per quantity, reorder thresholds ordered by urgency. Equinox for shops and dealers, with purchasing and the VAT registers in the same books.
05 · By tradeField service
The week on a schedule, the work order that cannot be closed with a required check still open, parts and hours logged on site, the customer’s signature and the PDF report. Equinox for installers and maintenance firms, with the fleet and the rented equipment in the same books.
06 · By tradeStudios & agencies
Tasks on a board, hours logged as billable at their rate, expenses that pass through an approval workflow, an invoice made of the unbilled hours, reconciled against the bank when it is paid. Equinox for professional practices, studios and agencies.
