Studios & agencies
From projectto invoice.
Projects, tasks, hours and expenses. Turn billable time into invoices and follow payment deadlines.

Studios, agencies, consultancies
The hours you worked become the invoice you send.
Work by project and the money is always one step behind the effort: hours in a spreadsheet, expenses in a drawer, an invoice assembled from memory at month end. Equinox keeps the chain intact — the hour is logged billable on its project, the invoice is generated from the unbilled ones, and the bank tells you when it was actually paid.
Scroll through a demo engagement. Move the hours and the rate: the invoice and the VAT recompute the way the product does when it bills a timesheet.

Studios & agencies
Tasks on a board, hours logged as billable at their rate, expenses that pass through an approval workflow, an invoice made of the unbilled hours, reconciled against the bank when it is paid. Equinox for professional practices, studios and agencies.
- Task states
- 6to do, in progress, in review, blocked, done, cancelled — with priority, due date and an estimate, on a board or on the cross-project roadmap.
- Hours
- Billable, at a rateeach entry carries the date, the hours, whether it is billable and at what rate. The demo project: 44.5 billable hours, 2,002.50 € not yet invoiced.
- Approvals
- Routed by amounta workflow is chosen by the amount of the document — one step under the threshold, two above it — with sequential steps, delegation for holidays and an escalation clock.
- The invoice
- Made of the unbilled hoursbillable hours not yet invoiced are grouped per project and client and become an invoice through the same document engine as everything else.
An engagement, start to finish
One project, five moments, one payment.
Scroll through a demo engagement. Move the hours and the rate: the invoice and the VAT recompute the way the product does when it bills a timesheet.
The work, on the board
The project holds its tasks with states, priorities and due dates; the milestones sit on a roadmap that spans every project. Notes and action items live next to them.
Projects & fieldHours, logged billable
Each entry has a date, its hours, a billable flag and a rate. What is not billable is still recorded — it is the difference between what the work cost and what it earned.
Projects & fieldAn expense, through approval
The travel expense goes into an approval workflow chosen by its amount. It waits at its step; whoever is away has delegated their approvals for the fortnight. The trail stays on the record.
AccountingThe invoice, from the timesheet
The unbilled billable hours are grouped per project and client and become an invoice: same engine, same numbering, e-invoicing through the exchange system for whoever needs it.
DocumentsThe bank confirms it
You record the deadline the invoice carries. When the money lands, the bank import scores the movement against the open invoices and, above the confidence threshold, reconciles it on its own. Marking the deadline paid stays your click — nothing is closed behind your back.
Bank linkThe modules involved
Six modules, one engagement.
A studio bills time, buys things, files documents and waits to be paid. These are the modules a practice uses in Equinox; each has its own page.
Projects & field
Projects and tasks, milestones on the roadmap, time entries with billable flag and rate, timesheet billing.
02Documents
Quotes, invoices, credit notes, electronic signature and e-invoicing through the exchange system.
03Deadlines & cash
The deadline every issued invoice leaves, the aging of what is late, the cashflow over the open ones.
04Bank link
Statement import in four formats, rules that categorise, reconciliation that matches a movement to its invoice.
05CRM
Clients and prospects, deals on a pipeline you shape, activities and the calendar bridge.
06Accounting
The journal, VAT registers, expenses and the year-end — where the whole engagement settles.
The views that matter
What the partner and the office look at.
Real captures of the application on a demo practice. The project, the hours, timesheet billing, the approvals waiting, the document archive and the week on the calendar.
Tasks — six states, one board
The Equinox project tasks board: columns by state with the tasks of a demo project, their priority and due dates.

Timesheet billing — the hours that become an invoice
The Equinox timesheet billing view: unbilled billable hours of a demo practice grouped per project and client with their amount.

Approvals — what is waiting, and on whom
The Equinox pending approvals list: a purchase order of a demo company waiting at its step with amount, requester and date.

Workflows — routed by document type and amount
The Equinox approval workflows list: workflows of a demo company with code, name, document type, steps and priority.

Archive — folders, tags, versions
The Equinox document archive: folders of a demo company on the left, documents with tags, size, date and version on the right.

The week — meetings, surveys, deadlines
The Equinox calendar in week view: the events of a demo company laid out over the working week.

What is not here, on purpose: an expense or an order does not enter an approval by itself — someone submits it; a step marked "everyone must approve" is stored but the engine advances on the first approval; the archive searches names and descriptions, not the text inside the files, and its links are for people inside the workspace, not public.
By trade
Six trades, one system underneath.
The same modules, arranged the way your work actually runs. Each page walks a typical day through the product, with the views that matter for that trade and the modules behind them.
