Retail & wholesale
From the shelfto the till.
Sales, products, stock and purchasing. Follow what sells and what needs replenishing, across your locations.

Shops, showrooms, dealers
The shelf, the till and the ledger agree.
A sale at the counter is three facts at once: money in the drawer, a piece off the shelf, a line in the VAT register. Equinox writes all three from the same act — and the dealer who buys twenty gets the price their list says, not the one someone remembered.
Scroll through a demo sale. Change the quantity: the total, the stock left and the reorder verdict follow the product’s own rules — the threshold, the reorder quantity, the VAT split.

Retail & wholesale
A till that closes its session against the cash it should hold, stock that moves with every sale, price lists per customer and per quantity, reorder thresholds ordered by urgency. Equinox for shops and dealers, with purchasing and the VAT registers in the same books.
- Payment methods
- 6 per linecash, card, wallet, gift card, cheque, on account — and the sum of the payments must equal the total of the sale, or the till refuses it.
- Session close

A sale, start to finish
One article, five moments, three books.
Scroll through a demo sale. Change the quantity: the total, the stock left and the reorder verdict follow the product’s own rules — the threshold, the reorder quantity, the VAT split.
One article, more than one price
The bistro chair has a list price for the counter and a dealer list with tiers: one price from ten pieces, another from fifty. Which price applies is a question the price list answers, per customer and per date.
WarehouseThe sale, at the till
The article goes into the cart — picked from the grid or read by the camera. The line carries its VAT rate; the total is net plus tax, to the cent.
WarehousePaid, printed, recorded
Card, cash, a gift card off its balance, a coupon that needs a minimum order, or on account for the dealer who settles monthly. The receipt prints on the network printer; the sale is in the session totals immediately.
AccountingThe stock knows
The piece leaves the warehouse the sale was made from. If what remains is under the reorder point, the article appears in the reorder list, sized on its reorder quantity and ordered by urgency.
PurchasingThe day, in the VAT register
The session closes with the cash counted against the expected balance. Every completed sale of the day is already a receipt in the takings and a line in the sales VAT register — once, and only once.
AccountingThe modules involved
Five modules, one counter.
A shop is a till, a stockroom and a supplier — and, if it sells to dealers, a set of price lists. These are the modules retail uses in Equinox; each has its own page.
Warehouse
Products with variants, units of measure and barcodes, stock across warehouses and bins, reorder thresholds.
02Purchasing
Supplier orders for what is short, goods receipts that move stock, supplier invoices booked against them.
03Accounting
The sales VAT register every till sale lands in, periodic VAT, the journal and the year-end.
04Documents
Invoices and delivery notes for business customers, quotes, e-invoicing through the exchange system.
05CRM
The dealers and the shops that buy from you: companies, contacts, deals on the pipeline you shape.
The views that matter
What the counter and the office look at.
Real captures of the application on a demo shop. The till, the day’s transactions, gift cards, price lists, stock and the reorder list.
Transactions — the day at the counter
The Equinox till transactions list: sales of a demo shop with receipt number, type, date, payment method, total and state.

Session — totals by VAT rate and by payment method
The Equinox register session summary: total sales, transactions, breakdown by VAT rate and by payment method.

Price lists — per customer, per period
The Equinox price lists: lists of a demo company with code, name, type, number of articles, assignments, validity and state.

Products — the catalogue behind the shelf
The Equinox products list: articles of a demo company with code, name, price, stock and category.

Reorder — what to buy, in what order
The Equinox reorder suggestions: products under their threshold with deficit, lead time, urgency and suggested quantity.

Gift cards — a balance with its own ledger
The Equinox gift cards list: cards of a demo shop with code, balance, state and expiry.

What is not here, on purpose: price lists are a lookup you consult, not a rule that rewrites the lines of a quote or an invoice on its own; there are no connectors to external online shops and no public storefront; the till prints on network printers and its fiscalisation goes through a transmission provider you enable, not a recorder in the box.
